Forgotten Apple Pie

Ingredients:
1 large egg
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup sour cream
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 cups of cooking apples, peeled and chopped (such as McIntosh)
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
topping:
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup butter, softened
Preparation:
Beat egg, flour and salt together in medium bowl until smooth
Beat in sour cream, sugar and vanilla until sugar is dissolved
Add apple
Stir
Turn into pie shell
Bake on bottom rack in 400 F oven for 10 minutes
Reduce heat to 350 F
Bake for 20 minutes
Topping:
Mix brown sugar, flour and butter until crumbly
Sprinkle over pie
