Icelandic Chicken Surprise

I originally made this in iceland, because it's a quick and easy recipe that required few dished to prepare... and it's dirt cheap to make! the surprise part of the chicken surpise is that it's tuna instead of chicken.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup macaroni pasta (dry)
  • 1 can tuna (120g), drained
  • 1/2 can cream of mushroom (284ml / 10oz), not prepared
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Preparation:

  • boil pasta until cooked
  • before draining the pasta water, throw in the peas for 3-5 mintues so they can cook
  • drain pasta/peas mixture
  • add cream of mushroom, tuna, paprika, and pepper
  • stir to mix well.
