Potato Rolls (Aardappel Broodjes)

Ingredients:

  • 4 tb butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 lb potatoes, cooked and mashed
  • salt, black pepper and nutmeg to taste
  • 3 egg yolks, beaten
  • 2 tb tomato paste
  • 1 cup chopped cooked ham

Preparation:

  • add 2 tablespoons of the butter and milk to hot mashed potatoes.
  • beat until smooth. add seasonings, egg yolks, tomato paste and ham. mix, shape into oval rolls.
  • brown in remaining butter.
