Steamed Bok Choy

Ingredients:

  • 4 baby bok choy
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp water

Preparation:

  • Trim each base of the baby bok choy;
  • cut in half lengthwise.
  • In large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  • Fry garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Add bok choy and water.
  • Cover and steam until tender-crisp, about 5 minutes.

Notes:

Optional: sprinkle with chopped fresh herbs, such as thyme or parsley.
