This is not an overly sweet bread and has a dense texture. It is great for ham, pork or grilled cheese sandwiches.

• 1/3 cup frozen unsweetened apple juice concentrate, thawed
• 2/3 cup water
• 2 tbsp vegetable oil, margarine or butter
• 3/4 tsp salt
• 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 3/4 cup cornmeal
• 1 1/4 tsp bread-machine yeast

• Add all ingredients to machine according to manufacturer's directions.
• Select basic white bread cycle.
  

• You can substitute apple juice for frozen concentrate and water.
