Confetti Cheese Bread

Ingredients:
3/4 cup water
3/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp instant skim-milk powder
1/2 cup shredded carrot, lightly; packed
1/3 cup each diced sweet green and red pepper
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
1 1/4 tsp bread-machine yeast
3/4 cup coarsely diced old Cheddar cheese
Preparation:
Add all ingredients except cheese to machine according to manufacturer's directions.
Select basic white cycle.
Add cheese at ingredient signal (or about 20 to 30 minutes into the cycle).
Remove loaf immediately after baking, since it is very tender.
Notes:
Freeze cheese for 30 minutes before adding so it won't melt too quickly.
The moisture content of the vegetables can vary. Check the dough when you add the cheese and adjust the consistency if necessary.
