use a paper towel to grease the bottom and sides of your slow cooked with the oil
add the sugar, oatmeal, baking powder, salt, and milk to your slow cooker.
mix well with a large wooden spoon.
ask an adult to help you crack the egg into a small mixing bowl.
beat the egg with a whisk.
carefully pour the egg into the oats mixture.

cover the slow cooker
bake the oatmeal on low for 2 1/2 to 3 hours
serving suggestion: baked oatmeal is great when topped with milk. you can also top it with other tasty ingredients such as craisins, brown sugar, or nuts.
