Ingredients:
1 large apple
3/4 cup peeled and freshly chopped gingerroot
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 pouch liquid pectin
Preparation:
peel and core the apple, then chop finely
combine all ingredients, except pectin, and cook over medium heat until mixture begins to thicken, about 25 minutes
add the pectin and bring to a boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly
pour in sterilized jars and cover tightly.
process jar in water bath.
