Sautéed Mongolian Beef

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 3/4 cup Chicken Broth
  • 3 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 lbs stir fry beef
  • 3 green onions, diced
  • 1 tbsp. corn starch
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced

Preparation:

  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce with chicken broth, brown sugar and cornstarch.
  • In a skillet, heat a little canola oil over medium heat.
  • Cook the beef strips 1 minute on each side.
  • Add the sauce and, if desired, the garlic.
  • Bring to a boil, then simmer for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with green onions.

Notes:

  • Sam also included carrots and red peppers.
