Chilli Peanut Chicken Noodles
Categories:
Chicken
Ingredients:
Marinated Chicken
800g Raw Chicken Breasts cut into cubes
1 Tsp Black Pepper
1 Tbsp Garlic Paste
1 Tbsp Ginger Paste
1 Tsp Chilli Flakes
1.5 Tsp Onion Powder
25g Sriracha
30ml Soy Sauce
20g Light Butter
Handful Chopped Coriander / Cilantro
Chilli Peanut Noodles
100g Natural Peanut Butter
75g Soy Sauce
50g Sriracha
30g Rice Vinegar
1 Tsp Chilli Flakes
125ml - 150ml Noodle Hot Water (Taken from boiled noodles)
250g Uncooked Medium Egg Noodles
1/2 Cup Chopped Green Onion/Scallion
Handful Chopped Coriander
Handful Sesame Seeds
Preparation:
Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes or overnight for better flavour!
Cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side on medium heat – don’t overcrowd the pan, you want a golden brown crust.
Lower the heat when adding extra butter and coriander.
Boil noodles for 4-5 minutes before making the peanut sauce (you need the noodle/pasta water).
Once cooked, remove in a strainer and pass through cold water to stop the cooking process.
Make the peanut sauce on low heat.
No need to cook this, just warm it up so it becomes silky smooth.
Notes:
Instagram reels are great for making a recipe look great but the instructions are often not the clearest.
The chicken and the noodles could be 2 separate recipes (IMO)
