brownie chip cookies

Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups shortening or softened butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
2/3 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2/3 cup cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp milk
1 package (225 g) white chocolate chips
1 cup coursely chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 F (180C).
In a large bowl cream together butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
In a medium bowl combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
Blend into creamed mixture alternately with milk.
Stir in white chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 F (180 C) for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes about 4 1/2 dozen cookies
