cocoa sugar cookie dough

Ingredients:

• 3/4 cup butter, softened
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/3 cup cocoa powder
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/4 tsp salt

Preparation:

• In large bowl, beat butter with sugar until fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla.
• In separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
• Stir flour mixture into butter mixture in 2 additions to make smooth dough.
