Double-Cheese Onion Bread
I realised after about 30 minutes into the process of the bread being spun in the bread machine that I had only put half a cup of water instead of the 1.5 cups... I quickly added another cup and restarted the machine... thankfully the bread still turned out yummy!
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup skim milk powder
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour or bread flour
- 2 tbsp. minced dried onion
- 1/2 cup shredded old cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 1/4 tsp. bread machine or instany yeast
Preparation:
- measure ingredients into baking pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer
- insert pan into the oven chamber
- select basic cycle.
tip:
- an ounce (30g) of cheddar cheese yields 1/4 cup (50ml) shredded.
