ginger chicken and green onion kabobs

ingredients:
9 green onions
3 tbsp. oyster sauce
2 tsp. minced gingerroot
1 1/2 tsp. vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp. water
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 lemon or lime, cut in wedges
Preparation:
finely chop white part and most of green part of 2 of the green onions to make about 1/4 cup; place in small bowl
stir in oyster sauce, ginger, oil and water; set aside
cut remaining green onions into 1-inch (2.5cm) lengths
cut chicken into bite-size cubes
alternately thread onions and chicken onto soaked bamboo skewers
brush with all of the ginger mixture (make ahead: cover and refrigerate for up to 4 hours)
place on greased grill over medium-high het or under broiler
close lid and cook, turning once, for about 6 minutes or until chicken is browned and no longer pink inside
serve with lemon wedges to squeeze over top.
