rosemary tea biscuits

Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup butter cut in pieces
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 tsp fresh rosemary chopped, or 1/4 tsp dried rosemary
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 400F
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cream of tartar and salt.
- Cut in the butter until crumbly.
- Stir in milk and rosemary until moistened.
- Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth (15
seconds).
- Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness.
- Cut into 8 round biscuits.
- Place on a baking sheet one inch apart.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Nnote: Rather than rolling the dough, divide it into 8 equal parts
and make 1/2-inch thick patties
