Downtown at Chrsitmas Time

Went downtown and did the walking tour to see "Winter Lights Across Canada". To be honest it wasn't that exciting. I think I was expecting more than just lights in trees.

My highlights, and also my suggestion, if you are going downtown, skip the long walk, and stick to Spark Street (tons of IG spots). Pop into the Chateau Laurier, there are lots of decorated trees (part of a contest) and there is also an Elf Pub, but being Saturday night, there was a line up. The Byward Market is pretty and most the courtyards too. Finally, although not festive, went up the Radision to check out the view.
