This is one of those places in Ottawa that not many talk about, but I love visiting this place in winter. In fact if it is sunny next weekend, I think I will pack a thermos of coffee, head down to the beach to watch the sun rise over the frozen river, listen to the weird sounds that the river is making, and then revist all the frozen waterfalls as the morning sun shines on them.
