Heart's Desire

First day of Spring, so I decided to head out for a lunch walk before the rain starts.

Went to a little forest area near my place called “Heart’s Desire”.

You think with a cute name, that it would have a nice sign, or people would put cute decorations, or something… but nope, it was a rather uneventful outing in terms of cuteness factor.

I did however enjoy watching the ice chunks float by. Some of them feel like mini works of art. Picked one up, and had a flashback to doing the same at Jökulsarlón (a glacial lagoon in Iceland).

And to continue with my oversharing of my overthinking during solo hikes… Today’s thoughts, probably because I was at a place called “Heart’s Desire”, was about what my heart desires. And although I am oversharing more, I’ll save that to myself and instead share a quote I’ve seen recently. "Somewhere, someone is searching for you in every person they meet".
