Food

We had some good eats on our trip. Besides the meals we cooked ourselves in the apartment, Oma made us several awesome meals and was always ready to served us coffee and cake. Annemarie also cooked and baked for us several times. A daily favourite of Rubby's was the Schnecken (“snails”) he got at the pastry shop and found enough Schwammerl (chanterelles) for a meal for us. For our hikes we usually packed sandwiches and snacks which always tasted great when enjoyed with the awesome view. We also tried out some of the local restaurants and enjoyed a Breze (pretzel) and bratwurst at Oktoberfest. Although Samantha looked like she might have liked to try some of these foods also, she had to settle for them in delayed liquid form!
