Getting There

To get to Austria we flew with US Airways from Ottawa to Philadelphia and Philadelphia to Munich . Never again. The $400 saved was not worth the annoying security checks and horrible service (not to mention the ugliest and meanest flight attendants ever!) That aside, Samantha proved to be an excellent traveler and got compliments from everyone for her wonderful behaviour. She didn't cry once! Which is pretty impressive for a 14 hour trip.

Here are some of the highlights:

We were told to feed Samantha on take-off and landing to pressurize her ears but she fell asleep before we even got off the ground!

Samantha got very used to the back carrier we borrowed from Sylvia.

Once we got to Munich , we took an airport taxi-bus to our hotel in Westendorf.
