Day 11: Moncton Geocaching

Quick! We have to get the geocaches before the money runs out in the parking meter!

Our first quick find... what else would guard rails be used for than to hide caches?!

The guy living under the bridge didn't seem to mind us, but we scared away a bunch of grouse.

We found a little eco-reserve right in Moncton.

Bench! This one doesn't seem to get a lot of use!

Why would a mother and child sit next to an empty baseball field while the father tromps through wet grass and bushes?

The Moncton University.

Finally we get back to the Aberdeen Cultural Centre and this time there are no muggles on the nearby bench to stop us from getting the cache.

We get back to the car with just a minute to spare!

In New Brunswick even the trees need licences...
maybe it's a licence to be spared from the Irving chainsaws!

We're meeting a lot of grouse today!

Where could this super difficult New Brunswick cache be hidden?!

We don't look suspicious at all poking through the flowers at signs...

Rubby that's not where the mail goes!

In the meantime Samantha seems to be having a grand-time with grand-ma!

We don't look suspicious at all poking around the fire hydrants...

We don't look suspicious at all poking around the graveyards...

We don't look suspicious at all poking around campus artwork...

The toads around here are quite amazing... they are used to guard precious geocaches.

Rubby wades through the water to find this geocache.

I don't think any muggles caught us, but hopefully this dragonfly won't reveal the secret location of this geocache!

Hmmmm, I wonder why this geocache was titled "Brown Socks"?

Moncton's very own city bald eagle watches our geocaching adventures from its tree perch.

We finish our day with a visit to the bald eagle's nest and say hello.
