We had planned to spend the night at Cavendish National Park campground but it was full. This was probably good luck anyway as the Cavendish parks are overrun with tourists and overpriced. We opted to head for one of the cheaper and less busy provincial parks instead.
Some fishing boats we saw along the way.
Beautiful island scenery.
The Hostetter's Viewscape along the French river.
The view is beautiful.
Along a typical red road we find another geocache.
We assume the Asian (japanese?) signage at the Kensington tourist center is due to the numerous Japanese tourists who flock to PEI to visit Anne of Green Gables.
In Kensington we call ahead to the campsite just to make sure there'll be a spot left when we get there.
An evening drive along the west coast brings us to some horses gallopping in the sunset.
A little local harbour.
Sunset on the west coast of PEI.
An empty beach as the sun sets.
We watched a full moon rise out of the water
from the beach at Cedar Dunes Provincial Park.
