Day 14: Moncton geocaching

Having slept nice and dry at Grandma & Grandpa's place in Moncton instead of in a tent during a big thunderstorm, we were able to spend the day relaxing and geocaching. We also went to pay a visit to the eagles nest and were treated to some great close up views of the residents themselves.

Bryan it's a little early for a drink, don't you think?!

Is the tide going in or out?

There was more than one old crow out this morning.

Lots of snails underfoot!

The happy cachers.

A very ingenious little contraption to hide the microcache...
it was simply tossed in the grass next to a hydro pole.

Darn it... they were changing the posters on the sign just when we wanted to come and find the cache.

Hmmmm, now THAT would be a good geocaching treasure!

When geocaching leave no stone unturned!

This cache was just another hole in the wall.

Rubby almost gets nabbed for mail tampering as he searches for a series of postal microcaches.

The guys changing the posters were gone and Rubby was quick to find the cache.

Better than the cache was this huge bush of blackberries!

Snack time!

Rubby and Bryan find our first letterbox cache.

Bryan found a friend while geocaching.

Besides geocaching, we also became the personal greeters of Moncton.

Can you spot the geocache?

Now do you see it?

Bryan is still having a bit of trouble... where could it be?!

After a good day of geocaching, we were hoping to find a cache here but no such luck!
