Did we mention this was the week of the Acadian festival?!
The Acadian spirit lives on...
A wedding... we had to stop and check it out when we noticed the odd backdrop.
What a creepy looking island!
From this beach we could get a better view of the island with the dead trees and spooky birds.
The view the other way was a little prettier.
We never did figure out which factory was in the sunset.
Not a car in sight along the new highway.
The drive might have been boring except for the storm clouds,...
...sunset,...
...and mist which entertained us.
