Samantha's 2nd Birthday

For Samantha's second birthday we had a family gathering. It started in the morning with a visit to the Experimental Farm to see the animals and Samantha was very excited to have Grandma, Grandpa and Auntie Christine join us. Opa and Oma then joined us for lunch and in the afternoon the Hayek's also joined us for 'happy cake' and presents. Although the snow the night before had threatened to put a damper on the plans for the day, in the end it worked out great as Samantha and her cousins Helena and Joe had a great time building snowmen (and snow penguins, and snow cupcakes) outside. We finished off the day with supper and a second birthday cake as per Samantha birthday tradition.
