Since the Hershey Chocolate Factory is scheduled to close this year, we decided to invite the Hayeks to come visit it in Smith Falls with us. We also took the opportunity to take a little walk and do some geocaching on this fine spring day.
Sam and Helena help Rubby pick out some chocolate.
Rows and rows of chocolate... mmmmm!!!!
Joe and Sam are playing outside with their new Hershey cars from Tante Silly.
Now that we've all got lots of energy from all that chocolate, where to next?
We decided to check out the Poonamalie locks nearby.
Tante Silly and Uncle Khalil having a quick snack break with the kids.
It's a beautiful walk to get to the cache.
Joe is gonna hike this one by himself.
Samantha on the other hand is having a grumpy day and needs to be carried.
Helena tells us stories as we hike to the cache.
And Helena finds the treasure!
The locks and canal are very scenic.
As the day is quite warm we decide to head back to the picnic area for our lunch.
Sam found a great hiking stick... not sure what she needs it for in the carrier though.
