December 9, 2007
Normally St. Nikolaus Day is December 6th, but when there's already lots going on that day and the kids have no concept of time, it gets celebrated Dec 9th instead. That way Rubby was also home to see what St. Nikolaus left us in our boots. By the way, in case many of you out there are wondering why you didn't get anything: St. Nikolaus usually doesn't come around to Canada, but Oma and Opa have connections with this European cousin of Santa Claus and so as a special favour to them, he comes to visit their grandkids in Canada. Very nice of him we think. :)
Oh my goodness, what's that in our boots?!
Samantha shows her boots that St. Nikolaus filled up with goodies.
Oranges, nuts, and chocolates! MMMMM!
Hey, it's St. Nikolaus!

Christopher kindly asks his mommy to eat his goodies for him.
