Day 14 - July 18: Mira, Point Aconi, Sydney, & Geo Event: Sydney and the Mira Provincial Campground

This Sydney playground made quite the impression on Samantha.

Nearby a bunch of bikers gather to ride together for the huge Harley Davidson weekend.

We wave to the MS Caribou leaving for Newfoundland.

Christopher is having fun too at the playground.

While Samantha continues to play,
Rubby takes Christopher to look for a geocache by the visitor centre.

Someone was sad to leave...

Another (much less impressive) park where Samantha climbed the spider bars for the first time... and got stuck.

Time for a swim back at the campground.

Hmmm, what are these bugs up to?!

Grandma and grandpa came for a visit... and they brought food... woohoo!

A strange sight by the beach.

Time for the intro to geocaching... which included a long winded discussion on all the things you could possibly bring along into the woods (just in case...).

A fox passes by and doesn't seem bothered by the crowds at all.

Ahhh, who wants to hear someone ramble on about global positioning systems when there are jellybeans to be found in plates of whip cream!

And the winner is...!

Samantha is eager to take Aunt Barbara geocaching.

A new "Little Blue" hoodie from Aunt Barbara for Samantha to go treasure hunting.

Samantha doesn't need momma and poppa when Aunt Barbara and Grandma are here!
