swim time

Besides the actual birthday party, Samantha had been talking for weeks about going swimming in Marilee's pool (yes, she actually remembers going swimming there last time!). So when the weather threatened rain and it was quite cool out, she was quite sad that the swim might not happen. But apparently the aunt colony love her very much (as she told us in the car ride back to camp that evening) and Marilee opened the pool and the cold waters were braved by aunts much braver than any of the parents! With teeth chattering the whole while, hailee and Samantha had a blast with noodles, water wings, and boat races. A huge thanks again to all of you!

Christopher foregoes the swim but has fun with Aunt Marilee and the dog.

Sam in the meantime is off to the (boat) races with Barbara.

Yup, Christopher is making the rounds again.

Freezing cold, but having a blast.

Laurie thinks that Barbara and Florence have things under control, no need for her to go in.

Sam was very excited to try water wings for the first time.
