we've arrived
the kids are ready to hike... oh wait, there is a puddle
what? no fishing!
the kids are having fun
interesting things growing on the back side of the leaf.
turtles
another turtle
more turtles
the kids are busy trying to count them all
but there are just too many to count.
that's a strange looking turtle
Sylvia is checking out the info sign
including a cute window.
lots of variety of vegetation
and birds too
the kids playing in the sand.
jo bushwhacks his way through the jungle
and finds a geocache!
a reminder that fall is not far away
snack break!
and of course, we have to play a bit too
no fishing here either!
lunch time!
and now to burn off our lunch at the park
do you think this will give momma some more grey hairs?
the closed interpretation centre.
but it's still nice to feel welcomed.
the kids will play with anything.
no it's not the green arrow... it's his cousin, the brown arrow
for some this is an information panel, to Sam it's a play structure.
next stop... the beach!
we take turns holding up our GPSr for the photo requirement of the earthcache
sam's next
rockhopper, macaroni & little blue (3/4 of team penguins lament)
the gull doesn't look impressed.
now the kids play on the beach
until it's finally time to head back home.
