November 6-29, 2009
When it was finally time to go, Fernando drove us to the airport where he and Christine saw us off. We were happy that the there were no demonstrations or traffic jams along the way and the flight itself was pretty uneventful. At the airport in Buenos Aires we enjoyed the royal treatment we got for having kids (as opposed to in the USA where you only get the royal treatment if you have money... the difference in culture was so clear!). On the plane both of the kids slept most of the way.
On our way to the airport... Our last time on BA's largest street.
We pass by the famous Theatre/Opera House which was closed for renovations while we were there.
Samantha on the way to the airport.
A large billboard along the way.
More giant advertising.
A last look at the tool booths on the way to the airport.
An impressive looking church.
People who just pull off along the highway to picnic, rest in the shade and hang out and play ball.
And where better to go horseback riding than right next to the highway?!
Saying bye to "Auntie 'istine".
We're going on an airplane ride!
It's been an exciting trip... time to get some sleep!
