Turtle Laying Eggs

Christopher was heading back into the house and spotted this turtle. this is now the second turtle (that we spotted) laying eggs in our yard. although not the most fast paced thing to watch, it is still a facinating site.

after the turtle finished laying its eggs and covering up the hole, we let the kids come out for a closer look

and even pet the turtle
