back to westendorf
Once the kids had collected their "prizes" for completing their activity books it was time to head back to the lift. We rode the lift back down to the car and headed back to Uri's.
For supper Hansi grilled up the rest of the sausages for supper and then we headed back to the hotel. We had decided to use the car tomorrow to go to an ice cave but in the end the weather forecast was saying it would be the last truly nice day for a while so we changed our mind and decided to go to Hexenwasser instead. Quickly went back to Uri's to let the others know and to visit a bit with Uri.

A quick snack in the lift as we leave Steinplatte.
We waited and waited to try and catch one of the green "submarine" lifts but finally we took a
red one
and had to content ourselves with waving to this green one as it went by.
In the car Christopher quickly gets hit by the tireds.
Back in Westendorf we spot a paraglider which reminds us of our "paraglider weather scale".
Today appears to be about a 6 paraglider day... nice and sunny and warm! :)
Opa apparently needs to rehydrate.
Christopher follows suit.
The kids have soup for supper.
Christopher quickly adapts to local customs. ;-)
The barbecue is prepped.
Soon the Wuerstl are cooking.
Oma checks up on Hansi the grillmeister.
Wuerstl and salad for supper for the adults.
Horseradish in a tube.
The woodpecker is back for a visit.
Mmmmmm, milka chocolate!
We can see our hotel from Uri's house.
Heading back to the hotel after a quick stop for diapers and groceries.
The kids get to finish some of their colouring sheets from Steinplatte before bed.
