After the kids had gotten their fill of the playground we decided to head to the entrance of the Kaiser forest which started with a giant castle where the kids could climb on the ramparts. Then we headed down the forest to find a treehouse where you could picnic, a knight's labyrinth where Christopher got stuck and Rubby happily went on through after him, a zipline that was a bit scary for Christopher but just fine for Samantha (and Rubby and Opa!), another trampoline (whoever heard of a trampoline in the woods?!) and a wickedly long slide. The kids were in heaven and we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. Awesome!
