After supper Oma came by to see if any of us were going up the mountain to see the Bergleuchten (Mountain Lighting). We decided to let the kids stay up late and go for a lift ride at night to see the lights. We got ready and went over to Uri's where we had some cake and coffee (and playtime for the kids) as we waited for the sun to set. The kids were super excited about being able to take the lift at night. At the top we walked out to the observation deck at Choralpe from where we got a good view of the symbols lit up with torches on Hohe Salve. Christopher ended up falling asleep on Rubby's shoulders so we headed back to the lift and took the kids home.

The clock strikes 8pm... as it gets darker, torches start to be lit all over the mountains.

Now we just have to wait for Opa to finish his capuccino so we can get going!

Time to head back home and to bed!
