ellmi's zauberwelt

The Stone Man

No visit to Ellmi's Zauberwelt would be complete without checking out the Habergoas and the Stone Man. The Habergoas is a mystical cryeature that comes in the night to kidnap naughty children and Samantha was quite captivated by this story last time were were here. In particular she was mesmerized by the Stone Man on top of the hill which was a man who had once insulted the Habergoas who in turn had turned him into a stone man. The kids are asked to try and recreate a smaller version of the stone man on the table nearby to release the man from the evil spell.

A visit to the Koboldhuette (Goblin's hut).

Very shy and often invisible, they are often great help with the housework. But woe betide the farmer's wife if she forgets to put out a payment of milk or leftovers for them...
then they smash the dishes, get revenge or simply leave the house and never come back.

The view of the lift station and Ellmi's playground with the Kaiser mountains in the background.

The window of the chapel.

Inside the chapel

Christopher in the rock garden... the rocks are geological samples from all over Austria.

Christopher consults the book of rocks which explains each type of rock and where it came from.

Samantha immediately heads over to the Stone Man and tries to
recreate a smaller version of him to release him from his spell.

The Habergoas - a mythical creature that turned the shepherd into a stone man.

Everyone tried to help break the spell but alas, we were unsuccessful.

We have a last picture with the stone man before moving on again.

Time to meet some of the local animals.

And off we go for more adventures.
