Visiting Christine & Gord

We were up and ready with lots of time to spare, so we left early to head out to to kingston in the hopes of doing a bit of geocaching. we ended up only doing one geocache and then the rain started.

 
made a stop along the way to do an earthcache.

a friendly sign in the kitchen.

the table looks very festive... the kids especially liked all the bugs.

kids watch a bit of tv while lunch is being prepared.

why is gord squishing the burgers?

wait... he is not squishing them...

he made heart shaped burgers for the kids!

sam liked them...

and so did christopher.

did I mention the kids liked the bugs on the table! ;)

 
after lunch, it's time to decorate cupcakes!

it's a little hard to squeeze so aunti christine helps out.

time to quality control the work.

christopher prefers the slower methods with more quality control

dessert is ready... cupcakes & ice cream!

but first... christopher needs a power break from all that hard work.

ok, the kids are ready to eat their creations.

and enjoyed scaring gord with it

sam had fun... i don't think she wanted to leave!
