Elf on the Shelf
December 2013
This year santa sent an elf on the shlef to keep an eye on the kids.
Day 1: The Elf arrived in the magic Christmas mailbox.... The kids name the elf "Bob"
Day 2: Looks like Bob the Elf is picking on the parents instead of watching the kids!
Day 2: Bob even has his own tool belt!
Day 3: Bob found the kid's electronics... then spent all night playing games! Even elves get addicted to Candy Crush!
Day 4: The Doctor (a.k.a. Bob) was busy fighting off the Daleks last night! And once again... The Doctor saved Chrisimas!
Day 5: Doing some bird watching.
Day 6: The kids had trouble finding Bob today
Day 6: But they eventually found Bob having a tea party with Barbie and Ken.
Day 7: Hopefully Bob didn't eat any of our treats.
Day 7: Looks like Bob was hanging out with Saint Nicholas (who must have been busy in Austria yesterday, since he is a day late)
Day 8: Bob got into the candies and other treats last night... now he'll spend the day with a belly ache!
Day 9: After all that candy yesterday, it's time to brush his teeth.
Day 9: He is doing a good job too... Bob = 10 - Sugar Monsters = 0
Day 10: Bob had a jam session last night! He enjoyed trying out some of our weird instruments.
Day 11: Bob thought all the ornaments on our tree looked pretty and he wanted to join in!
Day 12: Splish splash Bob was taking a bath!
Day 13: Bob had game night!
Day 14: Either bob heard the kids talk about crazy sock day at school or he simply wanted to be close to the warm fire...
whatever his reason, he seems rather comfy in the stocking.
Day 15: We woke up this morning to discover that Bob made us a loaf of bread during the night...
And he chose to make a loaf of Spicy Gingerbread! Yummy!
day 16: Bob was inspired by the snowfall this weekend!
Day 17: Bob took all the kids German books and decided to learn German last night!
Day 18: It was bound to happen... Bob found the Smurf village.
Day 18: Bob took advantage of the being in the Smurf village and decided to have a consult with Santa Smurf.
Day 19: Bob is trying to figure out if the kids have been bad, or just forgetful about their advent calendar.
Day 20: I hope Bob is not considering trying to become a (w)rap star in the off season.
Day 21: Bob found the wooden train set... I guess he wants to be an engineer. The cool kind!
Day 22: Bob decided to make a self portrait for the kids.
Day 23: Bob had a great time last night doing aerial acrobatics.
Day 24: We've had lots of fun with Bob, but it looks like he is saying Aloha to us (Hello & Goodbye).
I hope that after he gives his final report to Santa, that he gets to spend the off season in Hawaii. Mele Kalikimaka Bob!
