since christopher says this is his favourite thing about new zeland, i thought I'd post some photos so that you can get an idea of why he liked it so much.
it's not just us that liked this place... apparently there is always a line up!
a paper copy of the menu was handed to us in line since we were too far away from to see the real menu
you can tell that this is the hip place to be!
fergburger crest on the ground outside the entrance.
close enough to see the menu
go in, place your order, than wait until you order number appears on the screen
15 years in business and still permanent line ups for their burgers!
some free sun block so your don't get a burn while waiting in line
first peek inside... the chefs are busy!
orders placed, now time to get a family shot while we wait
the line up grew even bigger as we where there.
even though it was busy... it didn't take too long to get through the line up and get our food.
found ourself a nice spot at the side of a rugby field to eat!
samantha picked the classic... "the fergburger"
christopher went for "Little lamby"... mmm lamb burger!
take the photo... I want to eat!
a "big al"
in case you didn't read the menu...
big al is a double serving of prime new zealand beef (1/2lb), lashings of bacon, a whole lotta cheese,
2 eggs, beetroot, lettuce, tomato, red onion, relish & a big wad of aioli
all 3 burgers!
fergburger!!!!!
one last look at big al... very messy, but oh so good!
