Kouchibouguac National Park - Kelly's Beach

Kelly's beach is a beautiful example of what happens where the land meets the sea in this part of the world. The boardwalk crosses several life-zones. It passes through the edge of a forest, through a salt marsh, across a lagoon, onto a tiny dune islet, across the lagoon again, and onto an offshore barrier island.

some crabs don't like to come out of their shells

this place rocks!

this shell is totally tubular!

we've got the entire beach to ourselves

stare deep into my shell... you are getting very sleepy!

sand + wind + water = beautiful scenery

this snail is determined to get... somewhere?
