This way to the Middle Head Trail.
The trail goes along an ocean headland that separates North Bay Ingonish from South Bay Ingonish.
These signs are pretty descriptive!
One of the many squirrels that scolded us on our hike.
Finally we see some sea birds.
Rubby and Samantha watch the ocean for...
...birds...
...birds...
... more sea birds!
The headland is very picturesque.
Gulls!
Somehow we took a wrong turn and ended up in this spooky forest.
Cormorants.
Some wild roses and other pretty flowers along the way.
Rubby hunts down some birds...
... more birds.
...and eating! raspberries.
some flowers along the path
A view towards Ingonish Beach.
A wasp entering its nest.
It looks like the sun is trying to come out.
Some pretty flowers as we walk to the Keltic Lodge.
The Keltic Lodge... pretty fancy for a National Park!
Sammy tries out the adirondack chairs.
According to Sammy, this play structure was the best part of the lodge.
Hello poppa! Get ready to catch me!
Look, the lodge even has 'slot machines' for kids!
