Day 13: North Cape

We arrived at North Cape which is the location of the Atlantic Wind Test site,
a wind farm and a natural rock reef.

The rock reef is just covered at high tide but the seals enjoy the shallow waters.

Rubby and Samantha check out the boats off the shore.

The coastline by the reef.

The North Cape lighthouse.

The rock reef is also where the waters meet from both sides of the cape.

Samantha and Rubby enjoy the scenery.

The wind test site provides for interesting scenery.

Samantha does her own testing... yup, it's windy!

The wind causes more than just ocean waves here.

As the tide starts to go down, the seals and seagulls take a moment to dry off.

North Cape is also the site of the Black Marsh Nature trail but we didn't walk all of it due to the high winds and blowing sand along the shore.

We wanted to stay at North Cape for low tide but hunger got the best of us and we headed off to find a local family restaurant to get some grub.
