Day 5 - July 9: Grand-Manan, St John & New River Beach: Grand Manan & Black Beach

Sam excitedly helps prepare the strawberries for her pancake breakfast.

Have you ever seen wild strawberries as big as this?!

Mmmm, pancakes with maple syrup and wild strawberries!

A foggy ferry ride back to the mainland.

Check it out! The sand is black!

Rocky the Lobster is back in black.

A beautiful spot and we're here all by ourselves.

Nearby were some really interesting rocks.

  
An 'icing' rock, layers of red and white rock, and a blueish 'elephant rock'.

A pretty white moth on the rocks.

From the geocache, we get a nice (albeit foggy) view of the black beach.

And of course, we found more strawberries!
