The main attraction of Hexenwasser is the whole play area which is based on a water theme. A series of man made brooks and wooden water chutes lead visitors to bridges with spraying water, fountains, and various water activities. It's a kid's paradise but the adults all love it too.
A beautiful sunny day with blue skies in Westendorf.
Christopher finds a fun tractor to play with at Uri's.
A beautiful church near the lift.
Samantha quickly heads for the water.
These wooden chutes with dams are a lot of fun for the kids to play with.
Samantha runs across the bridge in the hopes of getting sprayed with water.
Time for a little drink.
Little did we know it that these 2 giant umbrellas were foreshadowing the weather for the rest of our trip!
A beautiful day!
A butterfly on a 'toothbrush' flower.
Christopher playing ploumps.
A Hexenhaus (witch house).
A view across the central part of Hexenwasser.
A hazelnut tree... the nuts won't be ripe til the fall though.
A little Hexe washes her smelly feet in the wash tub.
Wait a minute, that smell wasn't from Sammy's feet,
it was a nearby farmer spraying manure over the fields!
