When the sun gets too hot, the witches' forest offers a nice shady alternative. Interpretive signs teach a little bit about the forest's inhabitants and a little cabin gives a historic perspective of what the wood cutter's life was like. But the highlight of the forest is the campfire where the local witch teaches the kids how to bake bread over the fire.

We arrive at the witch's campfire and Samantha is invited to make some bread.

Another interpretive sign - This one explains how all the songbirds sing in a particular order in the morning. The specific time may vary, but the order is always the same!
