June 18 - Hexenwasser
Hohe Salve

To get back home from Hexenwasser we took the lift all the way up to Hohe Salve, and from there we caught another lift back down to Hopfgarten and then the bus back to Westendorf. Hohe Salve is known for some of the most panoramic views in the area so we stopped a bit to enjoy the view and Samantha and Christopher played at the giant's playground.

A beautiful view of the Kaiser mountains (Kaisergebirge).

View of Westendorf.

The Austrian Alps - the higher mountains have snow year-round.

The snow capped mountains seem especially close on a clear day like today.

The view across the Inn Valley towards Germany.

Sammy goes mountain climbing on a giants' head.

This requires real mountaineering skills!

The Gross Venediger mountain.

Tuckered out, Christopher falls asleep in the gondola on the way back down.

Sammy is all smiles after her Hexenwasser adventure

Honey Bssss loops are *not* as good as Honey Nut cheerios!

Christopher having dessert.

Sammy watches Maya the Bee on TV before bed.
