June 25, 2009 - Ellmi's Zauberwelt: The Magical Woods
The walk through the magical woods lets the kids meet all sorts of magical creatures that at the touch of special attached wands, tell a story. We met the international Ellmi frogs, listened to the Habergoas, found Noah's Ark, and discovered Ellmi and his treasure deep in a cave.

Samantha is not quite sure what to make of the magical "Habergeiss". She is fascinated by the story but a little worried that there might be some truth to it!

The chapel.
A book of rocks which explains each of the type of
rocks found in the garden and where they are from.
Conglomerate and a type of limestone.
The "Stoanmandl" is a shepherd that was turned into a stone man after he made fun of the Habergeiss. He can only be freed if someone can make an exact replica of the stone statue... Sam is trying her best, but she couldn't free the shepherd.
A forest of upside down trees... their roots make up the branches!

He was making antlers cause he saw the deer that Sam is feeding!
Sammy also found a goat.
Check out the giant chanterelles and other mushrooms growing in this forest!
Noah's ark... well, at least now we know where to come if the rain doesn't stop soon!

It might not have been the view we were hoping for,
but at least the clouds made for a dramatic picture!
