Aug 4: ottawa to mactaquac

mactaquac provincial park

we arrive at mactaquac and set up camp

the kids were very helpful

everything is set up... time to go play!

 
this new (since our last visit) play structure was greatly appreciated.

practicing balance and coordination.

the beach is within view of the park.

all this playing is making christopher very tired.

we start exploring the camp ground and soon discover chanterelles!

a hut that you can rent if you don't want to use a tent.

so we had to stop for a snack.

a little bird that really wanted us to share our snack

christopher is trying to fly like the crows.

all tuckered out... it's finally time for bed.
