Aug 6: fundy national park - day 1

we saw a giant potato on our drive towards fundy

and lots of clear cutting.

yikes... this turned out not to be a short cut.

the kids find a geocache called: "Loony Tunes - Plongeon dans l'univers des huards"

this is one of the 5 caches that needed to be found in order to get the 2009 edition of the Fundy National park geocoin

last year, there was no "l" in "welcome"... so we thought the sign said "we come" to Alma.

 
the first we did once we arrived in alma was stop for ice cream!
