November 26: Gaucho Ranch and Tango Show: Lunch and Dance Show
Lunch today was a typical Argentine asado... lots and lots of barbecued meat! Of course, we ended up eating way too much... chorizo and blood sausage, chicken, two cuts of beef, and pork. During lunch there was also live entertainment with music and dancing from all the various regions of Argentina. Once again we got the VIP treatment and were seated right next to the stage. Being a popular tourist destination, the ranch of course caters to all the different nationalities and they did a song for almost every country represented including Israel, Venezuela, Columbia, USA, France, Bolivia, Spain and of course, Canada ("This land is your land, this land is my land...").

Blood sausage... ok, that's maybe the one thing that we could do without.

Samantha was awesome and tried a bit of everything.
Christopher was pretty hungry too.
The host welcomes us with some songs.
Christopher enjoyed the show just as much as the food and especially liked the parts where he could clap.
The dancers show cased traditional dances from the various regions of Argentina.
They also showed different types of traditional costumes.

Some of the meat is a lot fattier than what we're used to, but the flavours are amazing.

There's a lot of hanky waving in these dances!
A very different type of dance with drumming.
And then the guy used these weights on ropes and by swinging them created a tapping rhythm on the floor.
Samantha was watching it all mesmerized as we got a smile from the drummer girl.
The tourists were encouraged to start dancing too.
For the final dance... a tango.
So full and tired but must finish ice cream!
